| Customer Reviews: The BEST chopper in the world! April 19, 2010 Amy A. Monsen (Gold Country, Calif.) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I have owned this chopper for 5 years now....threw out the stupid Cuisinart Food Processor. This gizmo chops nuts FAST! Onions...tomaotes...everything. The key is to keep the blade sharp. I am having a heck of a time finding replacement blades though. The only place I have found them is the big flea market in Yuma, Az. In fact, bought my first chopper there years ago. DO NOT BUY THE MODEL that has 2 blades...or even the one with the straight blades. The curved tripple blades make ALL the difference. I have chopped/sliced some veggies with this and used it to squeeze juice, but it's primary use is chopping. I do a killer "chopped salad" and "fresh salsa" with my home grown tomatoes. You can't beat this item...especially for the bucks. I have arthritis pretty bad, but can still use this chopper effectively.
I have one at home and one in the RV...just can't be without it.
Better than any food processor I've tried! September 5, 2010 lessismore 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is my third chopper like this over the last 30 yrs! I just won't ever invest in another electric food processor again. This is my first tri-blade chopper & it is a step above the dual blades. I love it! It still is VERY easy to clean, and controlling your chop is excellent. You have control of how course or fine your chop is, where as electronic choppers seem to Have 2 settings only: mince or puree, regardless of what setting you use. The slicer, shredder & julienne features are great as well! Storing it is a breeze too...not much space is needed & it's light weight enough to get down from the top shelf. The only thing I've found that it isn't real compatible with is herbs. I do have a little electric chopper I got for $6 new. I HIGHLY recommend this chopper!
A Very Handy Kitchen Appliance July 21, 2010 holmez (Huntsville, AL) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My wife had an older model that was cracked and the plastic was pitted from making orange juice. Despite the lower quality plastic of this item, she practically begged me for another one! It always did an excellent job with our vegetables. The new tri-blade is more efficient than the old tri-sawblades. We just wish it was made with more durable plastic.
