My 1995 Cuisinart is a lifesaver in the kitchen. I've used this machine way beyond what should be its useful life, but the motor is as strong as ever.
I was crestfallen when the work bowl finally cracked across its bottom and wouldn't hold any liquid. I couldn't find a decently priced replacement before finding this on Amazon, so I improvised a temporary epoxy-repair solution and used my beloved food processor for dry jobs only (grating cheese, crumbing crackers, etc.) until my husband found this replacement bowl.
It's exactly the same quality as the original and it's wonderful to have a clear bowl again (my old one had become clouded from the combination of acidic foods and "cracker crumbing," one of my favorite uses of the old machine).
The price is great and the quality of the bowl is excellent--an exact replica of my original. Just remember this is the bottom portion of the workbowl only & does not include the lock-on lid or pusher assembly.

I purchased this replacement bowl for my 21 year old food
processor. The bowl arrived in just three days and it fits
perfectly. Hopefully, the processor will now keep working
for another 21 years. In today's economy it is great to find
the parts you need and not spend the money on a new appliance.

I bought this replacement bowl for a Cuisinart that is 20 years old. The bowl fits perfectly, and appears to be constructed out of the same sturdy material as the original.

This replacement fits and works fine -- in contrast to what some reviewer's report. It seems overpriced, but there are precious few options for those who need a replacement parts for Cusinart equipment.
